About Kiwi2Aus

Kiwi2Aus was born from my personal journey as a New Zealand student aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia. During my Year 13, I was faced with a significant lack of accessible information and guidance on transitioning to Australian universities. Determined to make my dream a reality, I dedicated countless hours to researching every facet of the application process. My days were consumed with scouring university websites, deciphering admission requirements, and attempting to understand the nuances of international education systems. Despite my efforts, I often encountered vague or conflicting information, leading to frustration and uncertainty.

 

In addition to my solo research, I reached out to numerous university admissions offices, educational consultants, and fellow students who had embarked on similar journeys. These interactions involved numerous phone calls and emails, each providing pieces of the puzzle but never the complete picture. The lack of a centralized, reliable resource left me feeling overwhelmed and isolated during a pivotal time in my academic career. 

Even when I finally made it to Australia, I was still lost. I did not know what to do once I flew over - banking, health care, and all the little things you don't think about when moving over were weighing up, and I found it was a hard task to settle in.

Reflecting on these challenges, I recognized that no student should have to navigate this complex process alone. This realization inspired me to create Kiwi2Aus—a platform dedicated to providing comprehensive support and guidance for New Zealand students aiming to study in Australia. Our mission is to transform confusion into clarity, offering personalized resources and mentorship to ensure a seamless and informed transition for future scholars.
